what's a Bambolina?

Bambolina  (bom-boh-lee-nah) means "little doll" in Italian. What does it have to do with me? Well, my Torino-born husband created the nickname when we began dating and it just became part of our relationship. When we travel to Italy I'm "La Bambolina" and whenever we have an idea for a project, it sounds fantastic: think Bambolina Cafe, Bambolina Hotel... it's a whole empire waiting to be born. In the meantime, it's a special way to think about my business and how my whole identity is wrapped up in what I do.
